Stacia Gillam

As McKinley Management’s President and Chief Compliance Officer for McKinley Alaska Private Investment, LLC, Stacia Gillam manages the firm’s businesses including administration, finance, and investment operations and regulation. She leads both McKinley’s in-house and outsource teams with the goal of delivering innovative excellence to clients and investors. Stacia is a rare combination of creative talent, mixed with operational expertise, and a deep knowledge of what it takes to build a business from the ground up. She is a member of the firm’s executive team and reports directly to CEO Rob Gillam. She has been with McKinley for 7 years starting as the Director of Client Service for McKinley Capital Management, LLC where she managed client communication and reporting, creation and management of marketing materials, database updates, new business development, and compliance requirements. In 2021, Stacia joined the Executive team as McKinley Management’s Chief Strategy Officer. In 2024, after the sale of McKinley Capital, she assumed the role of Chief Operating and Compliance Officer for McKinley Alaska Private Investment, LLC, and in 2025 was promoted to President of McKinley Management, LLC. Prior to joining McKinley, Stacia honed her skills as a brand strategist and award-winning communicator during her long tenure as the Vice President of Client Service at Nerland Agency/Worldwide Partners. She spent 20 years on the agency’s management team while developing Alaska-based communications strategies and managing global brands for clients across a variety of industries. Earlier in her career, Stacia worked in Public Relations and Marketing for Hilton Hotels in Chicago, Illinois, and as the Director of Marketing for Kennedy Group in Dallas, Texas. Stacia received her B.A. in Communications with academic honors from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of the Advertising Agency Association of America Executive Leadership program, as well as a graduate of Hamburger University and recipient of McDonald’s first place national award for local marketing strategy. She has a long history of community service in Anchorage and decades of engagement in the start-up community including 7 years as managing member of Alaska Glacier Products, a bottled water business, and ongoing participation in start-up forums and coaching with g-beta. Stacia lives in Anchorage with her husband Rob and two sons. She enjoys music, cooking, and foraging in the Alaska wilderness.
